Visual Art

Our Visual Arts Program provides students with great opportunities to creatively express themselves through a variety of media with experiences in painting, drawing, threads and textiles, modelling, construction, printing and collage. We have community exhibitions, and student work is regularly exhibited around our school and the wider community. Our Visual Arts program is second to none!

Performing Art

Students at Ararat Primary School 800 have many opportunities to participate in the Performing Arts. Our Annual School Production, Arts Extravaganza, music lessons, Choir and Band allow many students to find their talents for the first time! These are outstanding events and very much a part of the community cultural calendar.

Circus

Ever wanted to run away and join the circus?  You’ve found the right place!! Students at all year levels are taught Circus skills as part of the curriculum.  Stilt walking, juggling, acrobalance, tumbling, spinning plates, diabolo, poi and clowning are some of the skills we teach.  Combined with a strength and flexibility program, this is a dynamic learning experience for our students. Our talented circus troupe ‘Bamboozle’ performs to a wide range of audiences, even outside our school.
